Capital Oil Plc commenced business as petroleum marketing company 24 years ago, precisely in 1986.

We are a pioneer among the group of wholly-owned indigenous companies in the petroleum marketing sub sector of the Nigerian Energy Sector.
The company was listed on the Nigerian Stock Exchange in what used to be the Second-Tier Securities Market but is now known as the Alternative Securities Market (ASeM).

As part of the more recent efforts to put it on a firmer footing, through two special placement exercises, the Company was able to attract new investors and additional capital of about N2.7 billion.
Renewed efforts have been put into creating a lasting shareholder value.
